This week I tried to get back on track with the sirtfood diet. I started the sirtfood diet (adele's weightloss diet) earlier this year during lockdown to help me begin a healthier relationship with food. I've unfortunately been incredibly busy recently and feel like I have fallen off track. With the aim of keeping myself accountable, I filmed this video trying to get back on track with the sirtfood diet. What is the Sirtfood Diet? The creators of the sirtfood diet - Aidan Goggins and Glen Matten (both British nutritionists) say that the diet and health plan that works by turning on your “skinny gene" which helps you to burn fat faster. This diet is based on research which says that a group of seven proteins found in the body known as Sirtuins (SIRTs) has been shown to regulate a variety of functions, including metabolism, inflammation and lifespan. This diet is well known for being Adele's weight loss diet of choice.
